The 5th International Conference on Agromedicine & Tropical Disease (ICATD) Virtual Conference
The needs for the Agromedicine research for the improvement on occupational and environmental health and safety in agriculture are growing. The challenges in tropical diseases are also increasing that require global solution to prevention and elimination. This event would facilitate dissemination of research on this topic, and surely, it will be an outstanding place for networking opportunities to discuss interesting ideas and develop the fruitful project in the future. As a major goal of this event, we hope that it can be an excellent chance for coordinating new partnership which advance collaboration in the research field as well as the career of all participants.
The 5th ICATD provide an opportunity to network with others with similar interest, to hear and discuss the fuse of acknowledging of experts and to present your own work through an oral and poster presentation. The 5th ICATD will be held on Augist 1st – 2rd 2024 in a Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jember.
The 1st International Conference on Medicinal Plants (The 1st ICMP)
The 1st ICMP in conjunction with the 62nd meeting of the Working Group on Medicinal Plant and Traditional Medicine (POKJA TOOT), collaboratively organized by Working Group on Medicinal Plant and Traditional Medicine (POKJA TOOT) and Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Jember.
The theme of this conference is “A revelation on medical plants as antioxidant sources against metabolic disorders: bioprospecting and conservation of Marsilea crenata C. Presl and Garcinia mangostana L”. Water clover (Marsilea crenata C. Presl) is an aquatic plant that is easily found in Indonesia. Both have been used as traditional medicine, especially in Indonesia. A number of active compounds contained in both medicinal plants are agents rich in antioxidants and have health benefits.
The 1st ICMP focuses on traditional medicine and other health issues, namely:
Antioxidants against metabolic disorders
Bioprospecting and conservation of medicinal plants
Ethnopharmacy and ethnopharmacology
Herbal medicine (formulation, standardization, phytochemistry, efficacy, toxicology)
Community development and other issues.
